Dive into Mark

Take a deep dive into the Gospel of Mark this Lent.  St. John’s will offer a 5-session immersion into Mark’s vivid and dramatic narrative that reveals Jesus as God’s anointed Son.  There is comedy and tragedy that we might miss when we hear just the short lectionary snippets.  (The Sunday Gospel readings are primarily taken from Mark this year.) Our Assisting Priest, Andrew Cooley, studied Mark’s Gospel at Oxford while on Sabbatical some years ago and is excited to share his passion for Mark at St. John’s.  Bring your bible and prepare by reading the Gospel through in one sitting.  Questions: parishadmin@stjohnsgigharbor.org
