St. John's Episcopal Church

Tour our property

Built in 1959, and most recently updated in 2021, our church has a distinct “mid-century modern” vibe, characterized by its clean, peaceful spaciousness.

Nave

Our principal worship space is the nave, with its 24’ ceilings, stained glass windows, hardwood floor, and padded pews. Our choir leads music in the rear of the nave, accompanied by a large tracker organ.

ADA Accessibility & Hearing Assistance

The main floor of our church is ADA accessible, including its new single-occupant bathrooms. Wheelchairs are available upon request, as are hearing assistance devices that connect directly to our sound system.

The St. Francis Narthex

The entrance to our church also doubles as our socializing/coffee space after every service, with café table seating.

Parish Hall

Located beneath the nave and accessed from the rear patio or internal staircase (and serviced by a full kitchen), the hall seats 90 people for dinner and hosts several neighborhood groups.

Memorial Garden & Grounds

The garden surrounding the entrance of the church is open to the community, with broad walkways, permanent seating, and a fountain. The Memorial Garden provides a place to inter the cremated remains of our loved ones.

Hilton 24-Hour Chapel

Located by the south nave entrance, this small 24-hour chapel is always unlocked, heated, well-lit, and open to all – both parishioners and neighbors alike.

Widening our Welcome (WOW) Capital Campaign

In 2021 St. John’s implemented significant improvements to our facilities, including: a new narthex; new organ; interior and exterior lighting; improved acoustics; single occupant and ADA bathrooms; seismic, fire and security updates; Memorial Garden and landscaping.
