Keeping Safe during COVID
From the start of the pandemic, we’ve taken the call to “love our neighbor” as a practical mandate to do all we can to keep one another alive and safe, especially those who are most vulnerable. The parish culture strongly supports vaccinations and mask-wearing during peak seasons of transmission. Throughout the pandemic, our parish has maintained a remarkable spirit of graciousness, unity, and understanding.
There are few COVID policies currently in place, but we monitor the conditions and adjust as needed. Decisions are made by a task force composed of the rector, wardens, Safety Team Lead, and an ER doctor who is a member of the parish.
We are currently hosting live worship with these policies:
– Optional mask wearing
– Wine at communion is shared by intinction (dipping) or drinking from individual cups
